In the mountains there are always marvel grassed areas. Along the ceramic mining area it is now into the mountains to the small villages in the valleys.

Introduction flight with the Arrow Copter in St.Georgen at Ybbsfelde in Austria

 

During my vacation in Europe I made an introduction flight with the Arrow Copter at the Airport St.Georgen at Ybbsfelde.

Excellent design. Very nice looking.

Certified in Austria and Germany for MTOW 560kg.

The Arrow Copter is really a premium product. With a monokok cockpit same as in the Formula1 he is very save.

Nice to fly in a speed from 30km/h - 165km/h. Climbing rate at departure on an outside temperature of 28 degree centigrade was O.K.

 

Soon the Arrow Copter will be certified in UK. After this certification they want to look into UAE market. The Company will mainly look for prefessional users.

Flight to the lakes near Salzburg Traunsee and Attersee.

I enjoy the last days of my holiday in Europe very much. I made a flight from LOLK Ried- Kirchheim to LOLU Gmunden. We have seen the nice and well known lakes of Attersee and Traunsee.

Gyrocopter Inn-Flight: Flight training in United Emirates UAE at Ras Al Khaimah airport

On 07/01/2012 I made my first training flight in the United Emirades in Ras Al Khaimah in the north-east region of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At Jazirah Aviation Club my wife and I were very warmly received. After checking the gyroplane MTO3 sport I flow along the Gulf beach with the flight instructor. Cpt.Aurimas from Vilnius (Lithuania) . A very beautiful and relaxing flight on the coast. Turquoise blue waters and wonderful beaches accompanied this flight at a temperature of about 25 degrees, a wind of 12km / h and an altitude of 800 ft above MSL.
The elevation of the airport is MSL. The Jazirah Aviation Club is an ideal place for people who want to fly in the winter time on really convenient temperatures.

Gyrocopter Inn-Flight: Probeflug mit dem XENON 2 von Celier Aviation

Ich hab ihn probiert den XENON 2 von Celier Aviation. Ich habe einen Lokalflug um Kircheim LOLK gemacht. Beim Rollen sind die Pedalbewegungen wesentlich leichter und geringer als im Vergleich bei den Modellen MTO3 Sport oder Calidus von Auto Gyro. Im Flug ist der XENON 2 ähnlich wie der MTO3 Sport. Er ist einfach zu händeln und ein gemütliches Fliegen ist damit möglich. Die Pedale und damit die Seitenruder sind im normalen Flug nicht wirklich einzusetzen. Natürlich hat der XENON 2 den Vorteil eines geschlossenen Tragschraubers. Insgesammt ein gutes Gerät für die, die sich gemütlich durch die Lüfte bewegen wollen.

Gyrocopter Inn-Flight: Flugeigenschaften Calidus - MTO3 Sport

Ich fliege sowohl den MTO3 Sport Tragschrauber wie den Calidus. Der MTO3 Sport ist gutmütig und im Verhältnis wirklich einfach zu fliegen. Im Vergleich dazu ist der Calidus schon etwas ansprucksvoller. Sowohl bei der Landung wie beim Start sind die Pedale für die Seitenruder wesentlich stärker einzusetzen. Der Calidus ist auch mit einer etwas höheren Geschwindigkeit ( ca. 110km/h ) als der MTO3 zu landen.

Gyrocopter Inn-Flight: Probeflug mit dem Magni

In Landshut habe ich bei der Flugschule Lorenz einen Probeflug mit dem Magni Tragschrauber gemacht. Der offene Magni ist, so meinen viele, etwas ruhiger im Flug im Vergleich zum MTO3 von Auto Gyro.
Für mich ist der Magni einfach träger und die starken Steuerkräfte sind wirklich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für mich ist der MTO3 spritziger, wendiger und einfach komfortabler in der Handhabung. Das ist mein Resüme nach 3 Flugstunden mit dem Magni.

Gyrocopter Inn-Flight: Start mit der Tragschrauber Ausbildung

Ich habe 2010 mit der theoretischen Ausbildung online bei Fluglehrerteam. de begonnen und diese im Jänner 2011 mit der Prüfung abgeschlossen.
Die praktische Ausbildung mache ich bei Fly-Zeit in Tannheim. Dabei bin ich bis jetzt mit dem MTO3 und nun mit dem Calidus von Auto Gyro geflogen.
